Vintage Lanvin clip-on Earrings
Vintage Lanvin clip-on Earrings
Lanvin clips with emerald-toned stones have the "Made in Germany" stamp, indicating their production by the German company Henkel & Grosse, later known simply as Grosse. This company also crafted jewelry for Christian Dior.
The clips are in good vintage condition, with some minor spots in the inner part that are not noticeable when worn.
The history of the brand began in Paris when 22-year-old Jeanne Lanvin opened a hat shop in Paris in 1889. Ten years later, the founder gave birth to her daughter Marguerite, who became not only her family but also a true muse.
Jeanne sewed dresses for her from the most luxurious materials, and her clients wanted the same for their daughters, so the brand opened a Young Ladies’ and Women’s department. Mothers and daughters would come and choose their Lanvin outfits together.
