This brooch was created by Marcel Boucher, a French jeweler from the early 20th century. He worked at Cartier before moving to the United States and launching his own brand. Boucher patented a unique earring design, similar to an ear cuff, and called it "Earrite." Even Marilyn Monroe wore his Earrite.
From the Vogue Ad in 1950:
The brooch is in good vintage condition. The plating is worn off in several places.
