Christian Dior Adjustable Ring
Christian Dior Adjustable Ring
Grab the treasure and run! And this ring is a true gem as it stands. Firstly, vintage rings are exceedingly rare finds. Secondly, vintage rings from esteemed brands like Dior are even more elusive.
The ring is in the good vintage condition, there are some slightly visible marks of time.
This ring was created in the 1970s by the German company Grosse for the fashion house Dior. Christian Dior entered into a contract with this company in 1955: he was impressed by the quality of their craft and entrusted them to produce costume jewelry for his house, as well as granted them the exclusive right to sell Christian Dior jewelry in their boutiques.
Dior epitomizes beauty, a beacon of light even in the darkest of times. Just a few years post-war, he introduced the New Look silhouette with its voluminous skirt made of layers of tulle, offering not just a new fashion statement, but a new perspective on femininity — woman as a flower.
This ring is crafted with great attention to detail. Behind the stone is a mechanism that helps adjust the ring size. And on the reverse side, you can see the Chr. Dior stamp.
And upon closer inspection, a delicate frame surrounds the inscription, reminiscent of the classic logo adorning vintage perfume bottles and shoeboxes.
